Here are links to Info on the species: (which was NOT found in the PA Herp Atlas Project of 7 years) The state is going to make them an Endangered Species in PA so maybe it would be good to have some info on them.

I read the document on the Boat Commission website. They seem to feel that species got here by accidental migration or accidental introduction. (or something like that)
I guess we'll have to wait for some more info on this. Trying to get a photo of one for this website...that's a problem. Which is why I put links up for it to other state's sites. If you have a photo and would like to add it to the site please let me know.
The PA Herp Atlas Project didn't have any of that species reported over it's current 7 years-which I would think is unusual as well.
I have found species in places that they weren't reported before either.
I'm not against putting them on list BTW. I just thought it was interesting.
