    Page Update: 05/04/08 9:07 am | Page Accessed: 1920 Time(s)

Some animals are difficult to photograph for various reasons (ae: they are an overly active species, they are tend to bite when held and especially in number for comparison-example: Eastern Gartersnakes-as they are so variable in colour and pattern-a group type photo saves space and gives a better representation of the species.) So they were detained for less than 12 hours and were released EXACTLY where they were found. This is done to get better quality photographs-under controlled conditions. Most Venomous species are taken in the wild as so not to have to handle them for obvious reasons.

Some animals are in need of treatment for injuries or in need of rehab. We take the appropriate action for each individual animal.

Some animals are photographed in rehab. centers, zoos, etc. (examples include raptors, big cats, etc)

Detailed notes are taken on every animal-location, species, weather conditions. etc. These notes are NOT available to the public, so don't ask for specific locations where I found a particular species. Just know that unless noted the photos were taken in Pennsylvania.
